Newcomers' Club of Santa Rosa

Newcomers’ Club is not just for newcomers! It is for all Sonoma County residents wanting to meet other like-minded residents to socialize, have fun and explore numerous activities.
Special Interest Groups include bridge, mahjong, book clubs, movies, dining out, visiting wineries, hiking, bocce ball and more!

Join us at our monthly luncheon (2nd Tuesday) to enjoy our current program. Reservation information & menu selections are available on the Luncheon Meetings page.

This month’s presentation – Mind Your Manners! The Origin of Social Graces – will colorfully trace the spread of manners and courtesy from the aristocracy to the middle classes in the time of the Enlightenment presented by Dr. Bruce Elliott.

Bruce received his Ph.D. in History from UC Berkeley and over the past decade has been teaching popular courses in European History for several university Lifelong-Learning programs, including Berkeley, Stanford and Sonoma State.

In April, Bruce presented his seventh Lifelong Learning class at Oakmont entitled British Revolutions: Kings, Queens & Knaves.

Please join us for this lively and interesting luncheon and, as always, guests are welcome.
