Jennifer Webley - Portobello Hats

We are fortunate to have a very special speaker for February –Jennifer Webley, owner of Portobello Hats and the Hattery of Sonoma County.

Jennifer has loved hats as long as she can remember. Influenced by her love of film and theater, Jennifer started collecting vintage hats at the age of 17, a collection that continues to grow. As Jennifer’s children left home, she decided to learn the art of millinery. This interest has also served as a new focal point in her travels, taking to her to block makers’ studios in Luton, England; ribbon shops in Paris; and to the heart of Panama hat production in Cuenca, Ecuador; as well as the most extraordinary silk flower factories in New York City.

The Hattery provides an opportunity to teach the art of hat making to others and to collaborate with clients on the design of custom hats for men and women.

Ladies … this is an opportunity to wear your Valentine’s Day outfits and hats (don’t forget your fascinators!).
As always, guests are invited!
